Job Summary:
We are seeking a Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in auto body repair, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with power tools and airless paint spraying. If you are passionate about automotive craftsmanship and have experience in sheet metal work, soldering, and auto estimating, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
- Assemble and disassemble vehicles to assess and repair damage
- Utilize power tools for cutting, sanding, and shaping metal components
- Conduct airless paint spraying for precise color matching and finishing
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of projects
Requirements:
- Proven experience in auto body repair within a dealership or automotive repair shop
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
- Proficiency in soldering techniques for metal joining
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems within vehicles
- Familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus
